Room-size claims, smart controls, and ongoing upkeep—what to check before putting this compact purifier in your home.

The Core 300S-P deserves a place on your shortlist if you want a compact purifier with connected controls. Before comparing prices, write down three things: the room’s dimensions, where the unit could stand without crowding furniture, and whether you expect to run it while sleeping.
Those answers give you a more useful comparison than a long feature list. A product can fit your floor space and still be a poor match for your preferred operating conditions.
The US product page pairs 1,051 square feet with one air change per hour, and 219 square feet with 4.8 air changes per hour. These are different operating targets, not two competing room-size recommendations.
Our room-size explainer walks through the calculation. Use it to compare products on a consistent basis rather than comparing each brand’s largest headline number.
Levoit lists VeSync scheduling and smart controls. Ask whether you will use those features often enough to justify choosing a connected model. If your plan is simply to leave a purifier running at a fixed setting, app control may be a convenience rather than a requirement.
Make a short list of the controls you need. Compare alternatives against that list; do not assume more features automatically make a better purchase.
Leave room in your budget for replacement filters. Check the exact replacement part, its availability, and the amount of attention you are prepared to give the machine. Our filter-care guide explains the maintenance instructions without treating a reminder light as a diagnosis.
For budgeting, separate the initial purchase from consumables and electricity. We do not show a live price here because this site does not maintain a live pricing feed.
The official documents do not fully agree. At our check, the product page listed 23 W rated power, while the linked series manual listed 39 W. We cannot establish why those figures differ from these documents alone.
For an electricity estimate, confirm the rating on the actual unit or ask Levoit about the listing you intend to purchase. The illustrations on this site are generic editorial drawings, not evidence of the product’s appearance or our ownership.

If an answer is missing, that is the next research task. It does not automatically make this product a bad choice; it means the decision is unfinished.
Check the manufacturer’s listing for the current product details. This is an ordinary manufacturer link; no affiliate tag is configured. We have not tested this product or established a consensus among owners.
